and Kerri Snow-Warren bounced happily in their carriage,
waiting for their mother to take them for a ride. They
loved to ride in the carriage every morning.
Shannon smiled at her twins
as they set off for Cloverleaf Corners Community Park.
It is her favorite spot in town.
"Let's sing a song," Shannon
said to her twins. Connor and Kerri nodded their heads
"Rock-a-bye baby..." Shannon
began to sing. Connor and Kerri listened carefully
waiting for their turn. They didn't know all of the
words, so they just sing the end of each line.
"On the tree..."
"TOP!" Connor and Kerri
screeched. They burst into giggles.
Shannon laughed along with
her twins, and then sang the next line.
"When the wind blows, the
"ROCK!" Connor and Kerri
laughed even harder.
Just then, Percy Beagle
walked by. He had heard the Snow-Warrens singing and
wanted to join in on the fun.
"When the bough breaks, the
cradle will..." he sang, winking at the twins.
"FALL!" they screamed beaming
Shannon stopped the carriage
at the park's entrance and stood arm in arm with her friend
Percy to sing the last line of the song.
"And down will come baby,
cradle and..." they sang in harmony.
"ALL" the twins shouted, very
pleased with themselves.
"You two are very good
singers," Percy said, patting Connor and Kerri on their

practice - and we put on shows once a month." He said
goodbye to the Snow-Warrens, then continued on his way.
"That was fun!" Connor and
Kerri told their mother. They couldn't wait to grow
old enough to be Cloverleaf Carolers! From now on they
would practice every carriage ride.
