Deconstructing Carrot Creek
photos taken February 29,
2012

The UK Wedding Celebration Set was one of
the last photos taken in Carrot Creek Sylvanian Village,
though the set was purchased in the summer of 2011.
Even though I have yet to re-package all of my Sylvanians
into their original boxes,
it's time to begin the work of dismantling Carrot Creek.

This is what Carrot Creek looked like
before the dismantling began.

In this photo, four boxes of trees have
been packed - and it's time for a break!

A total of six boxes of trees have been
packed from Carrot Creek.
That's enough for one day!

The back panels have now been removed (the
wall behind Carrot Creek is also blue)
and the perimeter fences have been chiseled from the base.
It looks like today's the day for major deconstruction work.
All the foliage will have to be sorted and packed.

One day it will be a normal family room.

Chris wanted to remove the lights today,
but a couple of boxes of foliage still needed to be packed.
While packing those two boxes, I also packed up the cupboard
that held other landscaping features.
In all, seven boxes were packed, labeled and lugged upstairs
with the other Sylvanian boxes.

The lights have been removed as well as
everything that had been stored on top of Carrot Creek.
Chris is now getting ready to remove the ceiling.

Part of the ceiling has been removed!

It's coming down so quickly!

And with one mighty tug and a lot of
prying, the mountain background is no more.

The rubble has been removed leaving the
cabinets to dismantle.
Can't believe how short a period of time deconstruction
took!
