Painting Mountains

Paper has been taped behind the mountains to keep the background blue while I quickly paint the mountains.
The dark mountain on the bottom right was the original paint test.
I thought the mountain looked too dark, hence the lighter colours this time around.

The first pass of paint on the mountains is complete - after only six hours work.
Gads, I've been at this since about 6:oo a.m. and it's now noon.
Time for lunch, a nap and some time away to get some perspective on the new lighter colours.
